7 Signs You’re a Fashion Junkie …

We all love to look good, ladies, and part of that is about keeping up with what's hot on the catwalk. But, girls, sometimes style can get in the way of other important elements of life; it's not ok to spend your entire pay cheque on one pair of shoes – especially if you've got a million in your wardrobe that look almost identical. I've asked around and put together this list of 7 signs you're a fashion junkie. Read it: you never know, labels might just be ruining your life.

1. You're a Branded Babe

Putting too much emphasis on labels is dangerous ladies. It's so important to recognise that we don't all have Dior budgets. Instead of trying to dress head to toe in haute couture, collect a few choice designer pieces and pad the rest of your wardrobe with good quality off-the-rack garments.

2. You Throw Away Clothes Every Season

It's important to update your look with every seasonal change, but, girls, don't throw away your entire spring wardrobe when summer rolls around. What a waste of money and manufacture – simply shed the pieces in your closet that are looking a little worn, and incorporate the rest into your new seasonal look.

3. You're Willing to Double Up

If you're prepared to buy an item even though you already own an almost identical piece, chances are, you're a fashion junkie. Good style is about understanding the function of every garment in your closet – why spend good money on something to do a job that's taken care of already?

7 Cool Things You Need To Own …

Every now and then, something comes along that is just so cool you will do what it takes to get your hands on and make it your own. Cool things you need to own are not like things you see every day or things that every one else owns. They are just things that you've got to have. Your friends will say how neat it is and you will just smile and agree. Okay, I will be honest. Not every thing on my list is going to make all your friends just die of jealousy. But I will say this: these 7 cool things you need to own are really, well, cool.

1. Fold up ballet shoes

I know hat you are thinking already. "What's so cool about a pair of shoes?" Right? What I love about these is the fact I can stick them in my backpack or in my purse. They are nice to have around if my flip flop breaks, or I need to leave from school and need a dressier shoe than my tennis shoes. I can simply grab them from my purse, and I am off!

2. Paris Wall Mural (8 X 13)

Paris Wall Mural (8 X 13)
Price: $99.99 at target.com
I may never have the opportunity to travel to Paris, but this mural will let me dream for a while. I love the dark shades with Eiffel Tower all lit up. Just like the picture shows, I can imagine I am sitting in a hotel room gazing out over the magnificent city, but I will be home for that math test tomorrow.

3. Wii Music

7 Fun Accessories I Keep in My Camera Bag …

I am a total shutterbug, constantly investing my hard-earned money of goofy camera gadgets. Some are fun, others are pure useless, but of course there's no way to know for sure unless I try them, right? Well, there's no reason you can't benefit from my rather expensive trial-and-error. Here are 7 fun accessories I keep in my camera bag.

1. Eye-Fi Wireless Memory Card

Eye-Fi Wireless Memory Card
Price: $49.95 to $149.99 at photojojo.com
This is such a brilliant camera accessory! Use this handy little memory card to shoot up to 8 gigs of photos, but then marvel as its Wi-Fi capabilities allow you to transit them to YouTube, Flickr, Facebook and more, all without a USB cord… how convenient!

2. The Monsterpod

The Monsterpod
Price: $30.00 each or $80.00 for 3 at photojojo.com
This is one of the coolest camera accessories I've ever used, delivering exactly what it promises — a tripod that sticks to anything, at any angle (even upside down), defying gravity to give you the coolest shots you can imagine. It's so small it can fit in your pocket, and so gravity-defying, you'll wonder exactly what it's made of (a viscoelastic polymer-based material).

3. Ring Flash Adaptor

Ring Flash Adaptor
Price: $40.00 at photojojo.com
Get the soft, even light of a much more expensive flash with this marvelous little ring flash. It attaches to the flash you already have, so you don't even need to hassle with batteries or cords. It slips right over your lens, giving your subjects a soft, flattering glow, even the hard-to-light macro shots. This is far and away the best $40 I've ever spent on a camera accessory!

7 Car Washing Tips …

7 Car Washing Tips …

I live too far from town to bother with wasting gas on driving to the local carwash. I prefer to wash my car at home and have provided 7 car washing tips that I find useful. See what you think and feel free to add your own to this list!

7. Wash the wheels first

Once the wheels are clean, begin washing from the top of the car and working your way down. You want to wash the wheels first, since these are often the dirtiest portion of the car. If you wait to wash these very last you will end up splashing a lot of mud and debris on the rest of the clean car. I like to give the wheels a second wipe down after I wash the rest of the car, just to make sure I got all the chunks off of them.

6. Empty the wash bucket often

Change the soapy water after you've washed the wheels. It's a good idea to change the water at least a couple of times. Even if you have lots of suds still in the bucket, this doesn't mean that the water is clean. The suds tend to hide the dirty water below and give you a false sense of clean water.

5. Scrub with a natural sea sponge or a microfiber cloth

No matter how dirty your vehicle is, there's no need to break out a scouring pad to get your car extra clean. You'll end up scratching the car's surface or taking off paint by scrubbing too hard. If you can't get the dirt or debris off with the cloth or sponge, then the spot might just need to soak a bit. Try going over stubborn areas after you've completely washed the car. This waiting period will allow enough time for the stuck-on substance to soften up a bit and it should come off much easier.

8 Bad Habits that Can Affect Your Beauty …

Lots of things can affect your beauty and your looks, some positively and many negatively. There are so many bad beauty habits out there, and some of them I didn’t even know were bad. That’s the worst – doing something wrong without even knowing it. Fortunately, checking out the following bad habits that can affect your beauty will give you a head’s up on a lot of these mistakes.

1. Too Much Foundation

If you put your foundation on too thick, you can actually make yourself look much older than you really are. For one thing, it gets caked into any lines or wrinkles, and makes them more pronounced. You can avoid that by pressing a sponge onto the areas where you have lines after applying your foundation, because it will absorb the excess makeup.

2. Too Much Concealer

This is another problem: putting too much concealer on any dark circles. I know this is tempting, because I’ve been guilty of it myself, but it’s actually the worst thing you can do. Your concealer only needs to go on the areas of skin under your eyes that are dark, and you should use a brush to make sure it’s evenly applied.

3. Bad News Blush

I know that the rules say blush is supposed to be applied to the apples of the cheeks, but sometimes that’s the worst thing you can do. If you’re skin isn’t as tight as it once was, if it’s lost some of its elasticity, then blush on the apples of your cheeks can actually draw attention to that fact. Instead, try putting it on your cheekbones’ highest points, keeping well away from your nose, and brush upward. That should do the trick.

7 Worst Types of Sex …

7 Worst Types of Sex …

I really enjoy writing blogs and right now, I want to cover the 7 worst types of sex. Right now, without reading what I have below, think about the worst types of sex in your book – then, read mine that I have posted in the blog below and see if I named one on your list. So, let me get started right now …

7. I Don't Really Want to Do it Type Sex

You know what I'm talking about – I think this is one of the worst types of sex. When the partner really does not want to do it, but they do it anyways simply because they think the other is going to be upset if they don't do it. Yeah, that type of sex.

6. Injured Sex

You would think that having something as little as a sprained ankle would not put a damper in bed, but it can. Just ask someone who has a sprained ankle right now and see what they tell you. Sure, it's possible, but it might not be the best.

5. Sad Sex

Sad sex is definitely going to be on my list. It's merely impossible to be in a good mood when sad. I think it would be hard to do it to someone when they are sad and looks like they are going to cry right in the middle of it. Somewhere, I actually read that a woman's tears have a chemical in it that turns a man off.

8 Must Haves In Your Vanity Bag …

A vanity bag is your bag of tricks when you want to get ready in a hurry. If you are traveling, your vanity case should carry all the essentials you are likely to need. While many ingredients of a vanity case differ based on different people's priorities and styles, here is a list of must haves in your vanity bag.

1. A bottle of hand sanitizer

You never know when you may need to apply or refresh your makeup. If at that time washing your hands is not an option, you may end up applying makeup on your face with dirty fingers. That is why a small bottle of hand sanitizer is a must have in a vanity bag.

2. A packet of soft tissues

You may need to clean off the makeup you have previously applied when you are reapplying your makeup. Or you may make a mistake while handling liquid products that may need cleaning. In such cases, a packet of soft tissues is very handy.

3. A bottle of makeup cleanser

As mentioned above, when you need to clean off your previously applied makeup or rectify a mistake you may have made with liquid makeup, a bottle of makeup cleanser in your vanity bag will be your lifesaver.

You need wedge shoes in neutral colors for spring and summer, yes you do. This pair is less than $20 so it’s imperative that you get them now.

2. Chambray Sundress

Aww look at this sweetheart of a sundress. Definitely a must-have for the sunny days. They’ll look great with the wedge shoes above, too.

3. Everyday Satchel

This cheap and chic bag is called Rachel and I think I need it in my life. It costs only $58 and its design is inspired by a bag that costs more than $1500.

4. Button Down Shirt

Look chic even when you’re just walking your dog, much like Alexis Bledel here. Start with this button down shirt. It’s chambray, too.

5. Silver Sandals
